Musical Shape Shifters
The Highlander Misfits are a Final Fantasy 14 band, lead by Samantha Sunray, based in the UK. The band is run by one player who is responsible for all the arrangements played in game. The band has a focus on older popular music, with the intent of reaching as wide an audience as possible, while sneaking in some songs that listeners may not usually hear. Hopefully this leads to expanding the musical interest of the listeners and brings joy to those people!
Born of One-Nighters
Starting out, the idea of living the road band life was the last thing on our minds. After we did all the local gigs, we realized the only way for us to evolve as a band was to hit the road. Over the next 6 months, we logged hundreds of gigs — with the occasional party appearance — in cities across Eorzea. Our time on the road proved crucial in shaping our sound.
